Thank you Reach4. The wall is too far away from the filter so I am going to have to find a way to support it from the bottom.

How will you change the filter elements then? I guess you are thinking of building a stand.

Perhaps you could suspend a board from the ceiling joists, but you would need to make that rigid enough. But then you would want the filters to be relocated high.
The sump of a 4.5 x 20 filter is heavy if you try to carry it at arms length. The sumps are lighter when you put the new cartridge in, because the sump would then be empty of water.
