Hello online friends,
After 20 years it appears this CPVC/Brass coupling has developed a leak. See picture. I am hoping for any advice from y'all on how to do this repair, especially with the brass/brass coupling on the left side (I'm not sure what that is), and the closeness of the CPVC elbow on the right side. Thank you in advance for your suggestions/advice.
Scott

A 1/2" threaded male adapter to CPVC
An easy fix would be to pick up a new male adapter, tape and dope it, thread it in and reconnect using either SharkBites or glued fittings.

Terry, thank you for your quick response. I've labeled the parts to make sure I understand your suggestion; are you saying replace C (unscrew the male PVC part from the brass part B).
If so, I assume I'd also need to replace elbow D and cut CPVC pipe E, adding a female coupler/some CPVC pipe/new elbow.
Do I have your recommendation right?
