Just finished some minor kitchen sink work in a 4 unit condo building & had to enter one of the other units to shut the water off to the entire building. (very poor planning). There is a way that a loop could be run to a common area in the basement, where everyone would have access to the water shutoff in case of emergency but it would require a lot of effort & cost. Is installing a remote shutoff valve a viable option? Can one be recommended? Thanks!
