I am remodeling my bathroom. I am a retired contractor so I know we work from shower valve body out.
I have no idea what brand fixture to use. Today most everything I see has a "built in obsolescence" feel.
Is there a brand that you would recommend.
I have been googling best fixtures/valve bodies and I keep seeing Moen and Delta.
Maybe they paid for that.
I used lots of Grohe and Newport Brass years ago because they were well made fixtures.
I don't know anymore.
Please help and...
Thank you.

I like the major brands, mainly because I can get parts later for them.

Delta
Grohe
HansGrohe
Kohler
Moen

All faucets for lavs and kitchens have changed recently, so it's too soon to give a really good review for them.
Everytime I install a new faucet, it's been changed with new directions.

For toilets, I like TOTO the best, but Kohler, American Standard and Gerber have been making improvements too.
Most new stuff is much better then what we had ten years ago.

Thank you!
I assume it's still the same - buy a nice Delta at my local plumbing house not Home Depot. et. al.,
Correct?
