Hi, folks. I need to replaced an aged toilet. Due to water conservation concerns, here in California the max gpf allowed is 1.28. We're getting up in years so looking to the future I'd like to buy an ADA toilet (or whatever toilet gives a bit of additional seat height). Elongated toilet is a must. No extra features desired; I just want a toilet that flushes as vigorously as a max 1.28gpf toilet can flush.

Any pointers on brands/models, or what to look for/look out for would be greatly appreciated. Money is no object.

Toto Entrada flushes well and we use them in apartments without clogging. It is not my favorite look bc the tank is small.
I prefer the American Standard Cadet 3 FloWise Two-Piece 1.28 GPF Single Flush Elongated Chair Height Toilet with Slow-Close Seat. It has standard Fluidmaster internal parts. The kit of installation supplies from HD I don't use, for example the closet bolts are not brass (at least when I purchased a few years ago)
