I was surfing the net looking at plumbing sites and I couldn’t help but notice that in 25 years radiant floor systems seem to have a lot more bells and whistles. It’s like comparing Wilbur wrights plane to a Boeing 747. It was expensive back in the day, I can’t imagine the cost today.

Pex came out 1995 before then copper or steel pipe, cast iron boilers, separate controls and B&G 1/4 hp pump all labor intensive. Now theres cartridge pumps, thermostats that are micro processor, condensing boilers and premade panels.
