Hello, I am a homeowner, and my Quietside Tankless Hot Water Heater would not run this morning (no hot water) Error code is "Ad" which is "Clogged Condensate Line" according to the manual. Writing to ask how to clear the line and get the hot water heater to start? The condensate line is 5/8" non kink drain line (like bendy straw) going in a Vee'ed in plastic pipe drain.

Update: I removed the condensate tank from the unit, and it had scale and silt in it. I cleaned it out, refilled with water and reinstalled. The hot water heater is now running with no error code. Now my question is how to make sure the condensate plumbing line that goes down into the basement floor is not clogged?

Good going on the cleanout.

You could lift the gray corrugated plastic condensate drain line out of the PVC. Add water into the PVC, perhaps using a funnel. The water should come out a the other end. Put the condensate drain line back inot the PVC.

If that PVC got clogged, expect the water to run out from where the condensate drain line enters the PVC.
