My ECOSYSTEM water softener was installed Sept 2022. It now leaks very slowly from the pipe going into my clean out drain whenever my system discharges water. How common is it for the system to be clogged? Is it recommended to attach the drain this way? What happen if I need to use the drain to clean out obstructions later. It has a p-trap. Is it clogged? I am trying to have my system service for its yearly service. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I can fairly confidently say no, but I don't even know how your drain is attached. Your pictures don't tell the story.
