I make stuff from copper pipe, like landscaping ornaments, serving carts ect. I currently use big box store pipe because the cost is low and their open on weekends. But their stuff has stickers and adhesive gunk all over them. Takes time to get that crud off. Would a plumbing supply house carry pipe that's gunk free?

Also, anyone recommend a wipe on copper polishing compound?

The plumbing store pipe will still have blue, green or red ink on the pipe. I don't know what removes the ink.

For stickers, GooGone is good for small quantities, and you might try acetone if using more volume. It is not the health hazard that stronger solvents are. Fingernail polish remover is mostly acetone.

Hey, wait a minute.
