So I’m doing a remodel that was started by another contractor who never finished. They did an underground and poured a slab. I tested the underground and luckily the only leak was on the toilet flange. So I peeled the flange out and the 4” inside has a weird spongy feeling. Has anyone ever seen this? Not sure if they used foam core and that’s how the foam core feels or what’s going on. Attached a picture of a piece that came out by hand.
