Our kitchen sink is stainless steel. I would like to drill a hole to attach a water filter faucet through. Any advice on how to do it without destroying the sink? Also what tools are required?

Thanks

A good quality holesaw will do it. A cheap one may give up and burn out first. A hole punch can do it, but they are quite expensive. A multi-step drill can do it (they're not cheap either). Use some cutting oil and keep the speed down to prevent burning out the bit. Watch out you don't get the bit caught, it can wrench your wrist and bend things!

A step drill or a series of passes starting with about 3/16", workiny up to 1/2" if necessary. Any larger than that, use the hole as a pilot for a Greenlee punch.
