Greetings,
I'm working on improvements for the drainage and venting system in my house. We have both illegal pipe/fitting configurations to change and also plans to finish the basement in the next couple of years. As part of this project I plan to replace every pipe and fitting in this 115 yr old house, all the way to the respective 1st and 2nd floor vent connections. I have a permit and an inspector, I'm hoping to send a Draft plan to him before our next meeting.
I'm hoping to get some feedback on this proposed drainage and venting design, please let me know if there's anything here will not fly.
A few notes:
1. In this design I have 2 vertical stacks in the basement to replace the single 4" cast iron. I was unsure about DFU's and wanted to overbuild (I got a little ahead of myself, the 2 stacks are already built). I'm hoping to be able to roll with 2 stacks if you catch my drift ;].
2. I was originally trying to wet vent the basement group, but the main drain runs underneath and presented issues.
Thanks a lot for taking a look, I really appreciate any feedback.
