propane boiler care during a power outage

Using a propane boiler with an open system if there is a power outage and the pipes freeze. Is it best to turn off the electric and leave the pilot on and once it gets warmer above freezing outside where everything is unthawed turn the electric back on. Just trying to prevent bursting of pipes if possible. I know opening faucets seems to help sometimes relieve the pressure of a frozen pipe.

It is baseboard heating.

Never have seen a open baseboard system. So where is it open? Cast iron boiler? Can't leave water in the system everything has to be drained. Probably to late to find a 5 gallons of boiler anti freeze locally. Don't have any idea how much your system holds need at least 30%. Plumbing need RV antifreeze to pour into toilets, their tank all floor,tubs,traps and water heater is eletric. 2-3 gallons. Disconnect clothes washer leave all valves open and hope for the best. Clothes washer in basement disconnect hoses drain hose lay on the floor, will drain water out of the pump pour antifreeze down drain pipe for the trap.
