Problem with pump, wiring question

bad leg in the wiring to the pump, I had about 100 feet of 12 submersible pump strand in the shed so I had to run to it above ground until I can afford to buy some 10Q. I did notice the capacitor was leaking and I had a spare box so I exchanged the face out with the spare for now.
Could I just use the 12 wire buried in conduit?

I have 100 ft of submersible 12a twisted wire hooked to it above ground right now for a temp fix, this wire is in good shape so I was hoping I could reuse it. It is about 70 feet from my breaker box to the pump
