Hello,

I'm trying to repair a leaking shower faucet. I think I've identified the correct one. I ordered part 36011 to replace but I cant seem to get the cartridge out. I've removed the handle, then the threaded metal piece and thats are far as I have gotten. The cartridge that is in place is green if that helps at all. I've attached a pic of the faucet for proper identification.

Thanks

You have the threaded keeper and then it should pull out. It can be hard.[/QUOTE]

I believe so. They can get pretty friendly having been there so long and are regretful to leave on their own.
Yes, a little more muscle.

That did the trick. Replaced it a few minutes ago. Thanks. Wonder what that would have costs if I had a plumber come out.

whatever their minimum charge is. The easiest way is to replace the screw in the stem, grab it with pliers, push it closed, then YANK it out/open. May have repeat as necessary
