I am trying to replace the cartridge on a Price Pfister shower valve (Model 0X8) which has integrated shutoff (stop) valves.
On other shower valves I have worked on in the past the stops were ball valves and only required a quarter turn to shut off. When the screw slot was in the vertical position, the valve was off. This does not seem to be the case with the PF 0X8. A quarter turn in either direction did not stop water flow.
Does anyone know if this type of valve has stops that are like regular faucet vales, i.e. turn clockwise until tight to stop???
Thanks!
