I am installing a pot filler with a fixed, integrated escutcheon. How do I get it flush with the tile, straight up n down and confident the nipple is sealed in the wall fitting?

Do your best to estimate how much your job will lift away from the wall tiles, any distance under 1/4" can be caulked, anything more than that you can shim it with a tub spout ring.

Is the fitting where the brass nipple will be screwed into already fixed in place?
