Sorry to hear of his passing. I've read his columns for years as I'm sure most of us have. I noticed he hadn't posted here for quite some time.

He was quietly fighting a battle with cancer the last few months. He didn't let anyone know. He was helping people with well issues and trying to make them smile up to his last minute. I was fortunate to be able to call him my friend. The picture of his hat on an empty chair in the drillers guide was more than I could take. He was a class act and will be a hard one to follow.

Yes, Porky will be missed. Knew him for years from the MWGC events at the National conventions.
