Porcher Toilet Seat

I have a vintage (1996) Porcher toilet and I can't figure out how to remove and/or tighten the toilet seat. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same question about removing (actually tightening) the seat. This diagram is not helpful as it provides no detail about the seat attachment nor instructions regarding removal. Can someone fill in some details? Thanks.

I can't remember exactly how that bowl is, but if you look at how the flush valve is fastened, my guess is that the back of the bowl is open and once the bowl is out, you can reach them from behind. A big maybe there.
