My landlord is fixing my shower but i just noticed an outlet socket right behind the piping is this right or should i be worried

To be honest, your landlord isn't going to be interested nor react to whatever news you discover on your own.

Having said that, pipes in walls aren't supposed to leak.

Think about how long this has ALREADY been this way without issues before it got opened up to you.
