Hi, I am planning to add a utility sink (see the hand drawing at left) to my laundry room. I have pictures of existing plumbing before the dry wall is closed. Can you recommend how to run the drainage and supply lines? My main concern is the drainage. I can run the supply lines outside if i have no choice.

This room is at ground floor. No basement. Do I have to worry about vent ?

Any advice is really appreciated.

You cut and/or break the floor to access the drain pipe and cut in a wye in the proper direction of flow. The vent pipe must rise vertically at least 42" above the floor, after which it can turn horizontal to be tied into the vent for the laundry.

Hey, wait a minute.

This is awkward, but...
