Hi,
I want to install a small toekick heater in my kitchen and was wondering if I need to use a venturi T fitting where it taps into the main baseboard heating loop. My concern is that the toekick only has 1/2" piping, which seems to me like it will cause reduced flow in the main heating loop, which is 3/4", if I were to plumb it "in-line"
My understanding is that venturi-T's branch off some of the flow from the main loop, thus avoiding the restriction problem (if it even is a problem). The manufacturer says it won't be a restriction, but I'm not so sure.
Any thoughts on the relative merits of the 2 methods?
