Please identify shower mixer valve (and cartridge)

Thermo mixer valve, now mostly dispensing scalding hot water.
Age wise that unit could be anything from late 1980's to 2000's - unable to find anything even remotely similar in Google Images.

Edit 1/11:
Also note there are no letters, numbers, or logo anywhere including on the back (which I can look at only at a crazy angle and therefore cannot take a photo of).

Could be a Kohler.
Contact their customer service, show them the photos and see what they say.

Thank you, I asked Kohler's customer service and they replied:
"Unfortunately, I was not able to identify the trim and valve as a Kohler product, an I am uncertain of its manufacturer."

So no luck here.
