I have to dig up and remove a collapsed line from my well to the house. I'm installing a Pitless Adapter and can only get 1-1/4". My well is shallow, about 30ft deep with a 150ft run to the house.
I am wondering if I should install 1-1/2" poly pipe with a reducer on the Pitless Adapter or if that will create too much restriction and turbulence in the line.
Would 1-1/4" poly from the well to the house be sufficient? Or would I be better served finding a 1-1/2" Pitless overall?
