Pex pressure test - leaks at drop ears

We have been pressure testing our pex lines, and found leaks at two of our drop ears. We switched from the plastic test stubs to threaded nipples with plugs and one is still leading at the drop ear.

Is it likely the drop ear itself is deformed? Any other ideas?

Possible the nipples are deformed, but it could be the drop ear.

Try using both tape and pipe compound on your existing nipples.
