Hey guys,

I'm running some PEX to replace some galvanized pipe in my bathroom. I have a house built using post and beam construction. How do you run PEX perpendicular to the beams? If you are supposed to support it every 32" and the beams are 4' apart?

How far apart is it OK to run PEX side by side? (Hot/cold)

Thanks

you can add support mid span . put short screws up into floor sheathing being a 4 foot span must have beefy floor boards

32" for support, and you can bundle the PEX.
Maybe put some in a larger pipe for support.

Thanks! That's what I needed to know.

OK perfect. I will add some support. I'll have to double check but I'm almost positive it's 4' between beams running down the length of my house.
