I was curious if anyone is using this peracetic acid for H2S treatment in well water?

I have high pH water (8.5) which means chlorine doesn't work the best. I've never liked the water I get with chlorine. I've resorted to using either air or H2O2 with the centaur carbon, but I struggle with biofouling (slime) causing H2S slippage. I've read that Peracetic Acid is a very strong oxidizer at higher pH's AND an excellent biocide. Curious if anyone has looked at it?
