I have pegasus shower purchased from homedepot, here is the link to it: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Pegasus-...aucet-in-Heritage-Bronze-873W-9096H/204729584

And here is the installation guide.

I am following the guide to adjust the temperature, however I have hard time to unscrew the sleeve. Attached are the pictures after I removed the handle and inverter. I also uploaded the assembly diagram.

I have tried with hand, used an irwin groovelock wrench. the sleeve seems to be very tight. Can anyone tell me how to unscrew the sleeve? Or am I doing anything wrong here?
Thanks a lot!

I would wrap something around the sleeve to protect the finish and try again with the wrench. Maybe one of those rubber jar lid grippers. You could wrap several layers of tape around it etc.

Thanks. How about strap wench? It is strangely tight.

Note I purchased it recently, had a plumber installed it, and then have NOT used for once, then today found out the water is cold and want to adjust the temperature.
