Peerless shower System

I bought a peerless shower system, Now on the nose that you put the handheld handle. It says hand tighten only and dont use teflon tape well at the hose connection it leaks,now what also I tried tape too still leaksm should I get a better shower system and diverter

The threads are quite coarse and not meant to be part of the seal, so tape doesn't help. There should be rubber gasket inside, and that is the seal. It might take very strong hands to make it tight. If necessary, wrap a rag around it and use some pliers for leverage.

Like Jimbo said ....theire should be some little black rubber
washers that go into the sockets for those the psrayer and
handle

Usually I will also add some pipe dope to the threads
both inner an outer.....just to kill htat extra stubborn dripp


some white teflon dope works good...
