It was never yellow before, but you may recall I posted about our well giving us trouble, so we call in the pro's and they replaced it with another well pump and it's been yellowish ever since. What could cause this? Thanks in advance!

You don't say how long ago and how much water you pumped since the new pump. Whenever a pump is changed, the casing is disturbed and any sediment in the lines and tank may be disturbed also.

If the new pump is capable of more GPM than the old one, it can draw the well down faster and stir it up.

You were complaining of dirty water before the new pump, so what exactly was wrong with the system that necessitated replacing the pump?

It had died, totally stopped producing water. It's no longer dirty just yellow. We've run it for two weeks and its still yellow, we'd thought if it was sediment or something stirred up from the change out that it would have worked itself out by now.
