Hello everyone! I’m currently trying to replace an old single knob shower handle, but I can seem to figure out how to get it off. I believe it to be a Moen, based on the escutcheon, not sure of the model. After removing the handle cap, there doesn’t seem to be a set screw, just a flared metal piece that when I try to unscrew it, it only adjusts the water temp and doesn’t loosen in any way. I’ve posted a picture below, any help would be appreciated!

Also, check inside the cylinder after the cartridge's out, sometimes the O-rings break off inside and can lodge in the ports.
