Old or New damage in toilet bowl?

Hi I need your expertise. My wife owns a professional cleaning company, one of her cleaners has been wrongly accussed of breaking a toilet basin by dropping something on it firstly is this possible? Also the so called picture looks like an old crack to me! Please could you give me your opinion on this Thank-you.

Yes, it is possible to break with bad luck and a heavy or pointy enough item.
Pic is not fine enough to tell anything.
The lines look blue to me would this take awile to happen from the blue flush liquid

I would say that those cracks have been there a while. If it was a fresh crack, you probably wouldn't even see the lines. Since the lines have blackened, that means that water and bacteria/mold have been growing in the cracks for a while in the raw porcelain.
