Hi all,
Is it possible to remove the internals from old globe valves and cap off with a standard cap where the bonnet nut was? Are they usually the same thread? This is at my daughters older farmhouse and my Son -in Law couldn't close them to do some work(shoulda called me) so he put in Shark Bite valves and now he wants the globes gone. I'm a competent DIY plumber and I could just cut them out and sweat in pipe/couplings, but this is an old dark basement with lots in the way. Looking to save some time time and work cuz there's plenty to do over there.
