Hello, I upgraded my combination boiler and piping for my hydronic system. I installed a new Watts LF007M3-QT 3/4 feeding the boiler loop. When I opened the valve to fill the loop, water was spraying out of the center nipple on the backflower preventer. What's going on? I'm flummoxed.

The flow direction arrow is pointing the correct way. I have water supply, backflow preventer, pressure reducing valve and then then the rest of the loop.

Ha! I closed the test port, but I'm still getting water dripping consistently through the center port. Have I not turned it tight enough?
