I recently had a new glass shower enclosure installed. During first time use, water leaked below the door into the newly grouted tile floor. It turns out that the water leaks out when the door is opened and during cleaning when the shower wand is used. The installer says that the shower is installed correctly and that the leak is caused by using a detachable shower wand instead of a fixed shower head. My argument is that shower wands are common use nowadays and that spraying the glass enclosure directly, including the door, shouldn't cause a leak. Am I off base here?
