I removed some rads and relocated one. Im just confused on how this setup works as ive never seen one like this before. It does domestic hot and heating. Whats the transfer plate for? Is the transfer plate the only thing heating the rads?

The plate type heat exchanger isolates the potable water from the heating system water. All heat going into the heating system goes through the heat exchanger.

So its high pressure on one sidebof the heat exchanger

It's whatever your potable supply pressure is on the potable side, and whatever you set it to on the heating system side.

The heating system side needs to have sufficient pressure to lift water to the top of the highest radiator on the system without pumping, plus 2-3psi to account for pressure differences induced by the pump to keep it from drawing air in at any vents.
