I thought I'd be in great shape with this well since it's sandy here, the water table is 5 ft. below grade, I'm 110 ft from an inland lake & lake superior is a mile away. I prime the pump, pull the 2" cap off the "T", fill that with water. Putting my hand against it, there is plenty of suction...(I was afraid my hand would get sucked in!) I wonder if this new 2" point is somehow plugged. Any suggestions out there? Thanks, Jim

Either the well point is not letting the water through or it is not in a good water producing zone. A lot of vacuum would make me think the formation is just too tight and not making water. Are there other wells like this in your area?
