I am about to hook up an inductive cooktop and separate stove to my old 220 stove wire, I thought i could use wire connectors but the biggest ones i have, red ones, do not look big enough to hold all the wires, is there some type of connector I should get?

What are the size of the wires. There are many connectors available but based on the size of the wires.
Also the connection must be placed in a box, can't be in the open as a splice. How big is the box?

Here is an example.

Look for Wago lever wire nuts. They aren’t the usual twist-one. They can connect multiple sizes of stranded or straight wire, have testing probe port, are magic. Wago.com
