Evolution Connex Thermostat Model SYSTXBBECW01 has been paired with a Bryant furnace 986TB and A/C 538A for the past 10-15 years. Lately, the temperature on the thermostat has been way off, as much as 10-15 degrees. Since the thermostats are proprietary and there was no way to purchase directly from a retailer, I ended up getting a newer Evolution Thermostat model (SYSTXBBECC01-B) off Ebay. No problems recognizing the furnace, but it will not recognize the A/C. Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear that the newer stat is not compatible.
We installed dozens of the Evolution systems back when I was running my bigger company so it is dis-heartening to hear that there is no easy resolution.
Maybe look for a different pre-owned older Evolution model on EBAY
Would love to know if it might be that particular -B unit you have or is universally a no-options situation.
try to contact Bryant?
