I have a wall in my basement with a 2" ABS drain that is connected directly to my main stack which is 3" wet vent here in Canada.

The drain pipe 2" abs sticks out at about 16-18" off unfinished floor.

I would like to attach a sink and washer to this drain pipe.
Basically a washer on the right and a sink on the left.

How would i go about planning this ?

Thanks guys !

Not knowing more about you "wet vent" setup, this is how we do things South of the border.
Here we don't allow wet venting for a washer. It pumps out too quickly.

Basically the drain tube sticking out from wall is coming straight from the main stack which is a 3" and is a wet vent .
So i am guessing if i do a setup something like this isn't good.

Maybe you can get someone in Canada to sign off on that. No inspector would go for that here.

I recall a washer setup in Bellevue that was "wet vented" below a kitchen sink like that. Everytime the kitchen sink drained it burped water out of the washer drain.

The same home had a tub that wasn't vented properly too, and when it drained it filled the shower pan.

You can always try it. If it doesn't work, then you can try something else.

Thanks Terry for the advice.
I will wait to see if someone here in Canada knows if this is legal here.
If not, like you said i can always try it.

If you don't mind the sewer gas coming back into the house, it will work.

The utility sink is attached above the p-trap on washer stand pipe so any sewer gases would be stopped by p-trap.

I think its more as Terry stated earlier a question of pumping out to fast.

If you have a toilet being flushed from above, the air it pushes can cause the traps below to either burp out water or siphon water. The you get the smells in your home from the sewer gas.
We're not allowed, for that reason, to do what you want to do.

I understand, so in that case should i put in a AAV ? If so where ?
I am guessing these are cheater valves and against code.
But in my case i can't really reroute as its all cement 10" walls and a 3 storey home. Hard to get to the roof.

So I am guessing 1 AAV for each fixture or just one ?
I found this pic on the net of what I would like to do.

The fixtures should not share a trap.

Where I am, we can vertically wet vent the laundry sink over the washer. Each fixture needs its own trap, and the lower sanitary tee on the stack must be a 2x2x2. The vent must be a dedicated vent, meaning there are no drains from above connected to that stack. Basically what Terry's photo shows, minus the re-vent.
