Hello all - any help would be appreciated. I'm hoping to identify the valve for a roman tub so I may replace the trim. The valve itself is inaccessible as it is behind tile. There are zero name / number identifiers on either the valve (the parts I can see) or on the handles / faucet that are currently installed. The house was built in 1987 and the bathroom was remodeled about ten years ago by the previous owner. I'm not sure whether the valve was replaced then.

I know it is a long shot, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks much.

I'm by far an expert in old valves.. but those D shaped posts look like Delta stems.. My delta rep told me that any new roman tub trim will fit those.. but that Knobs often are installed to both H&C turn clockwise on.. so that its weird to replace with lever handles.

Caveat.. the spouts can be updated so long as they have a set screw.. which yours looks like it had.

@Tuttles Revenge - thank you for your insight, and great point about lever handles. I hadn't thought of that.
@Marlinman - Thank you for your input, much appreciated. I noticed that my original title had the word "Moen" in it - I must have pasted in there by mistake (and have since updated the title). My question is that do you still think my valve is a Moen?

I like the idea of the handle trim kit. I had troubles finding handles that even match my 'D' shape on the inside. Any thoughts on how to identify that?

Again, thank you both very much. I really appreciate the help.
