Price just depends on who you are buying from. I don't like the "too many starts feature". The Cycle Sensor looks for that as well, but does it a different way. You just set the "run time". If it is suppose to take 60 seconds to fill your pressure tank, you set the run time to 50 seconds. If for any reason it doesn't run at least 50 seconds, the Cycle Sensor shuts the pump off and says RCYC. This will save your pump from a bad tank, bad pressure switch, or anything that makes the pump run less than 50 seconds. It doesn't wait for "too many cycles" before it shuts the pump off. It is a lot more precise and can be set for any situation.

The same with the underload. There is no "tweeking" to the Cycle Sensor. You set it at exactly the amps you want the pump to shut down when the well is dry. You can even control the water level in the well this way without pumping the well completely dry. Just set it for "almost" dry well amps.
