Hello everyone

I wanted to get some advice for installing a utility sink drainage system in my garage. Please see the diagram for a visualization.

I am going to drill a 2" hole in the concrete slab to access the basement, in the basement there is a vertical main drain that I can tap into.

But I would like to know what is proper method of installing a drain system for my situation? For venting, I plan on using an air admittance valve, and the water supply is already nearby.

(I would like to also be able to use this drain to connect my water softener waste line).

Thank you!
