Hello
I need a new toilet for a bathroom remodel

Everything I've read is Toto is very good.

I'd like a tall boy, elongated, one piece if possible and something that cleans well when flushed.
The house has septic, not sure if that matters. I don't think low flow toilet would work well for my house.
I'm willing to go with a 2 piece but like the idea of a 1 piece for cleaning.

I hope not t spend more than 600-700 and even less.

What do you recommend?

Thanks

I've been installing of lot of the Ultramax II,
MS604114CEFG
One piece, universal height, good bowl finish with the rinse that swirls. It's a 1.28 that works very well. It's all you need.

HI Terry,
I've seen you mention the Drake a lot. Is there any major difference between the Drake and the Ultramax?

Thanks

Drakes are two-piece. Neither are Unifit or skirted.

One piece will cost more, but in the Toto world, one piece toilets include a seat, and not the 2-piece. At least it used to be that way.

The toilet will be in service for many years, so getting something you prefer is worthwhile.

Toto has a good reputation but it is largely legacy. Yes, the toilets mentioned are fine. But Toto has also cheapened a lot and some of their mechanisms inside the tank are not high quality
You can look up the independent flush performance from MaP testing site for any toilet.
I am extremely happy with my new American Standard Cadet 3 Flowise 1.28 (flushes like a CHAMP) and Pro models with elongated bowls with the Everclean surface. I dumped my old Toto Drake due to age and porcelain condition.

I appreciate that advice. I've checked out the MaP scores for the Toto's mentioned and they also look good. The only negative is I'd be paying a couple hundred more for those.

breplum had the old TOTO without the better bowl finish. The new TOTO Drakes all have the better finish now.
And they have a better trapway.
I've sold and installed both, the TOTO is better.

Surprising that the upgrade didn't happen sooner in his home. But then I change toilets often so that I can write about them.
I do find that toilets across the board are getting better.

I installed three 2021 Toto Drake washlet+ 1.6gpf and couldn’t be happier. Also HIGHLY recommend considering buying either those or Ultra Max washlet+ with bidet seat — s500e or s550e. You will be rapidly spoiled and the extra $ are well worth it. But regardless, the flushing power and cleaning performance of the new Drakes with cefiontec finish are excellent — just go with Toto and you won’t go wrong.

The MS604114CEFG seems to be out of stock at many places near me. is there a new model of this same toilet?

It's now the MS604124CEFG#01
The bowl is a Connect bowl, which has a hole for a concealed supply line for a Washlet, and the SS124 seat that covers that hole.

Potentially ...
No G= no CEFIONTECT ceramic glaze
No F = no normally means 14-5/8" rather than 16-1/8" high bowl "Universal height"
No C= no Double Cyclone Rinse presumably. So I think instead of two big holes, it would have rim holes.

It's one of the original models.
Standard height, standard glaze, round bowl.
I did sell a bunch of them though.

For any bowl cleaning, dishwashing detergent, Dawn works well.

Last question I hope.

What are the differences between these 2?

Is there a 1.6 GPF of this toilet?
