I think so. You definitely have to have the generator outdoors and run an extension cord.
Costco has been selling a trifuel generator in the six hundred dollar range that can use natural gas, and that is the way to go if you have that.
I've seen those WEN used at farmer's markets and such and they are quiet. Honda makes great generators.
