I changed L to 12 degrees over. Now it goes longer if it over shoots and keeps burner on. Doesn’t cycle burner on and off as much now but still overshoots. What’s recycle time?

M burner on is still set at factory default of 4 degrees below set temp.
Looked up the H value. Anti fast cycle time…. What’s that?

Cn 10 is the terminals that call for boiler. Meter needs to be put across them to eliminate problems outside of boiler when icon turns off. Call for heat 0 vac, no call 24vac

Keeps burner off in between cycles for a set amount of time even if it calling for heat.

This is set at default of 3 min. If I change it to zero will it keep burner on even if it overshoots burner off setting?

Think I may have narrowed it down. So it only overshoots when the upstairs zone is on. (Tri level). Which is located directly above boiler. My max return temp is set to the max of 158f. My return water temps from upstairs zone is 149f. Boiler set at 145f.

What I think is happening is the return water is just as hot as boiler water so when it’s lit in heating mode the return water is “helping” heat the boiler water as it recirculates. Causing the set temp to overshoot. I set burner off temp to 12 degrees over but it’s still doing so.

When 2 zones are calling for heat it doesn’t do this near at all if any time. I think the longer runs from multiple zones helps cool the water some before it gets back to boiler so it doesn’t overshoot set temp.

Does my theory sound plausible?

How many changes have u made. Write all your changes down. Wonder how many algorithms u didn't wait for them learn. Zone stats check heat anticipators?
Sorry baby steps.

Never had this issue all last winter. I’m sure the unit learned. I have had these nest thermos in all 3 zones since then too. I’ve only changed burner off to +12 degrees from +4 default.

I would just delete the nests. They are notoriously bad for hydronic systems. It's a known thing.
