Hi,

I am looking at extending my kitchen the 5' where the bathroom is on the same side of bungalow. My question is, should I be able to offset the original stack the 5' at 45deg in laundry room in basement and offset back in attic to go out original roof vent. Its a single bathroom that picks up the kitchen. only adding mainfloor laundry

Appreciate any input.. Thanks

Probably. The only issue I can think of is that moving the stack MIGHT cause your trap arm distance to the vent may then exceed the requirements. I think Canada is a bit more lenient than some in the US. 45 or greater is still considered vertical.

Hey, wait a minute.

This is awkward, but...
