The motor on my small Burnham boiler calls for 10 to 12 drops per motor bearing and approx 1 ounce for pump bearing at start of each season. Where is all this oil supposed to go other than on my floor? When I stick a toothpick in these orifices, like a dipstick, it comes out already very oily. There is also an advisement against over-oiling. I don't get it.
