Hi,

I am trying to replace my Moen shower cartridge but having trouble with the first step which is the removing for the shower itself! It has no visible screws and I think it has a cap of some sort but no idea how to take it out. Please see attached photos and thank you in advance.

First cover the drain so nothing slips out and down the drain it goes. Use a small screwdriver or jewelers size and get between the edge of the cap and body. There is a few years of soap and hard water deposits that makes it like it was glued in. You can pour some vinegar on it.
