First post here, but I found another post from a few years back regarding the Deltique line so thought I'd give it a (long) shot.
I have a Deltique escutcheon, knob, and decorative cap that I would like to try and re-use on a modern shower valve so it can match the one in my second bathroom. The original valve (and volume lever) were beyond saving and got thrown out a few months back when I was gutting the bathroom. I will likely end up plugging the volume lever hole since I don't think a diverter valve button would make sense due to there not being a tub spout.
I see in this post that a 1600 series trim kit would fit, so by that logic would a 1600 series valve work for this? How would one find model #s of valve assemblies that would work with this if it's even possible?

I appreciate your input in advance!
